Comic Studies: Comics and Trauma
Those of you that follow my ramblings on Twitter will know that I am currently enrolled in a postgraduate degree in Comic Studies. I'm enjoying it immensely! The first module is on Autobiographix and Documentary Comics.
I'm writing about my progression through the course, and what comic studies itself actually entails for Comic Book Resources, and the latest of my columns has just gone live. This week was about comics and trauma, looking closely at David B's Epileptic, and David Small's Stitches.

I read every one of your insightful articles on comics studies. I’ve read most of what you’ve covered, but it’s nice to read about new things and view things through your scholarly eye. Keep up the great work!
